Earn Money With Google Adsense

Adsense is the most popular publisher network for everyone who is serious about making money online. Google has the biggest worldwide online advertising network named as Google Adwords, the advertisers publish their ads on Google Ad exchange through Adwords.
HOW IT WORKS?

Those advertisers pay Google a sum on money to run those ads. On the other hand Google has a publisher network that is open to everyone, named as Google Adsense, where approved Google Adsense publishers can use those ads in variety of ways to monetize their unique online content / properties. Advertisers pay 100% amount for running ads via Google Adwords. Google keeps 32% in its own pocket and pays the whooping 68% to its approved Google Adsense Publishers. Adsense pays on either CPC (cost per click) or RPM (revenue per thousand impressions) also known as CPM (cost per thousand impressions). Mostly Google Adsense use CPC ads while sometimes there are RPM ads. That depends on the advertiser which way they had opted to advertise, if its CPC based ad and the someone clicks on that ad, you will be credited for that click, else if its a RPM (CPM) based advert, you will be credited every time someone sees that ad or in other terms if anyone generates an impression of RPM (CPM) advert, you will earn something.

MONETIZE WEBSITE/BLOG

If you are creating genuine online content that is 100% unique and you own copyrights to that content yourself, you can easily apply for Google Adsense and start making money with Google Adsense. If you are lucky enough to get Google Adsense approved, make sure to read their terms and conditions before implementing the Google Adsense ad codes on your website or blog. Placement of adsense ad codes does matter for better CTR (click through rate), which determines the earning capacity of your online content. If you are looking forward to start a blogger blog or wordpress blog, you can surely have a look at easy tutorial guides that I have had created for my valued readers.

Where To Place Ads?

Google Adsense ads placement is one of the most important factor. If your ads are optimized for your site’s content and blended inside the content in such a way that they represent useful information and bring value for your visitors. This way your CTR (click through rate) will increase many folds and therefore your adsense earnings will also boost up. Never place the ads near drop down menus and never encourage your visitors to click your ads by mentioning “support us by visiting sponsors”.  Only three adsense ad units are allowed per page. Adsense ad units which bring in better earnings include (300×250, 360×280, 480×60, 720×90 & 160×600). You can place this size of ad units at maximum of three locations per page of your blog.

Monetize Video Content

If you are able to create quality video content on YouTube, you are one step closer to making money with Google Adsense through YouTube partnership program. I already have covered an article that shows how to earn money with video content creation. Not all countries are supported by YouTube partnership program.

Monetize Android Apps

Admob is the part of Google’s publisher network for Android apps. You can signup for Google Admob, insert the admob’s ad code in your apps with SDK (software development kit) and publish them at Google Play Store. I would suggest you to create two versions of apps, free version that is ad supported while the other version should be paid one and without ads. Or you can simply create one version that is ad supported and available for free, but it should have the flexibility to turn off ads after purchasing the ad removal key from Google Play Store.

How To Get Paid?

Your first Google Adsense payment will be issued to your when your adsense account will reach minimum $100 threshold. Google Adsense offers different ways of payment. The most famous and fastest way is Western Union. That simply issues a payment pin, you can take that payment pin with your original identity card, passport or driver’s license to receive your Google Adsense payment from authorized Western Union agents. Other ways include Wire Transfer, Check and Secured Express Check. Wire Transfer is not available for all countries yet. Checks aren’t recommended way to cash out your Adsense online earnings, since they consume more time to reach you and then cleared from the bank.

TO REGISTER YOUR ADSENSE ACCOUNT

Things you must not do with Google Adsense

1. You can’t put up more than 3 ad units on each page of your website, unless you are Adsense premium publisher, who have special terms & conditions.

2. You must not ask your users in any way to click on your ads, neither you can click your own ads. Its against Adsense terms & conditions and considered as click fraud.

3. Placing the ads under drop down menus is also forbidden under Adsense terms & conditions since it lead towards invalid click activity and ultimately your account would be banned.

4. You must not put the Google Adsense ads on any sites which contain nudity, pornography, illegal content, pirated content, copyrighted content, gambling site, drugs or ammunition usage guides, or anything that is illegal under the eye of law.

5. Do not put Google adsense ads within an iframe, else it will be banned.

6. Do not put Google adsense ads on any site that has copy pasted content, else it will be banned sooner or later.

7. Do not totally rely on Google Adsense earnings, since putting your all eggs in one basket is always dangerous. Diversify your publisher network search and use combination of different networks that will not only distribute the risk level but it will also help to boost your current online earnings.

8. You must not make the navigation process of your content too difficult for the users. In other words do not confuse your visitors with difficult navigation of your site’s content.I hope this article would help you understand the basics of Google Adsense and How to Make Money with Google Adsense.
